How much is a Madeira guitar worth?
Madeira by Guild guitars sell for, and are worth, whatever someone is willing to pay. Many knowledgeable guitarist would howl at an A-30M priced at $500. Others say a good A-30M (one with minimal fret wear, clean body, etc…) is a grab at $200-$250.

Who makes Madeira guitars?
Madeira Guitars used to be Guild’s import brand. They were first made in Japan with USA parts then were made in Korea with USA parts by Samick (which also still makes Sigma for Martin, Epiphone for Gibson, and Squire for Fender but not with USA parts anymore).

Guilds are very good guitars, I own one and have owned a few others. Usually a good guitar for the money and built very well. I nice guild will give the others a run for the money. Guild builds great guitars.
Are Beaver Creek guitars any good?
Very good guitar. Perfect for my 6 yr old who is learning. Build quality and sound is much better than what I was expecting from a guitar at this low price. I don’t play, but the music place my daughter goes to started carrying this brand after she started her lessons because they were impressed how well it sounded.
Is Guild better than Taylor?
Guilds use basswood for the linings of even their top of the line models while Taylor uses mahogany which in my opinion is better. Taylors are a little more expensive for similar features.
